Qualification: B.E./B.Tech / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. IT / Computer Science or equivalent
Job Summary
We are looking for an ABAP Developer to develop, customize, maintain, and support SAP applications using ABAP programming. Candidates with around 3 years of relevant experience are preferred; however, freshers with good knowledge of SAP ABAP may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming.
- Work on Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF) objects.
- Design and develop ALV Reports, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.
- Develop and support interfaces using BAPIs, RFCs, and APIs.
- Enhance SAP standard functionality using User Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework.
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues in SAP systems.
- Work closely with SAP Functional Consultants to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP coding standards and best practices.
- Optimize program performance and troubleshoot performance-related issues.
- Support testing, UAT and production deployment activities.
- Prepare technical documentation for developments and enhancements.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues within defined timelines.
Required Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of SAP ABAP programming.
- Knowledge of RICEF objects.
- Hands-on knowledge of ALV Reports, SmartForms and Adobe Forms.
- Understanding of BAPIs, RFCs and APIs.
- Knowledge of User Exits, BAdIs and Enhancement Framework.
- Good understanding of ABAP debugging and performance optimization.
- Basic understanding of SAP integration with functional modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO or PP will be an advantage.
For Freshers
